World of Warships players are in for a treat with the upcoming update 0.8.2, which brings a plethora of new features and battle modes to the table. The latest installment promises to take the game to new heights, offering a fresh and exciting experience for fans of naval combat.

One of the most anticipated additions is the introduction of unusual achievements, which are awarded for demonstrating a variety of combat skills in the new battle modes. These achievements can be earned by completing Directives, allowing players to showcase their prowess on the battlefield.

Another notable feature is the addition of camouflage patterns for Tier VI–IX ships, which can be obtained as rewards for completing Directives or purchased with doubloons. Players will also have access to a range of bionic permanent space camouflage patterns for researchable U.S. ships, adding an extra layer of customization and flair to their in-game vessels.

The update also brings 11 new permanent space camouflage patterns for Tier X ships, including two new designs for the X Hindenburg and X Shimakaze. These unique patterns are sure to set players apart from the competition and provide a stylish way to personalize their ships.

In Space Assault, the objective of the attacking team is to destroy the defending team's station within a limited period of time. This high-stakes mode demands precision and timing, as players must work together to achieve their goal.

The third mode, Binary Star, pits teams against each other on a map where key points initially cover a wide territory, gradually shrinking towards the enemy side. This mode requires coordination and communication between teammates to capture and hold key positions.

Finally, the reworked Epicenter mode, Rings of Saturn, allows players to capture zones independently, adding an extra layer of complexity and strategy to this classic mode.

As April Fool's Day approaches, World of Warships players will have the opportunity to test their mettle against other players in these new battle modes. With the release of Update 0.8.2, the option to exchange researchable aircraft carriers for XP and credits, or Premium aircraft carriers for doubloons, will cease to be available. This means that players must make the most of this opportunity before it's gone.
